K stands for 1000 2k means 2*1000=2000 2k17=2000+17=2017 2017 means the previous year. So instead of writing a “0” between 2 and 17 we replacing the “0” with a “k” ( 2k17)2017 and same for 2018 (2k18)

2K17 was a bad year for me I hope 2018 be much better
