Cool, but in a kind of frumpy, retro sort of way. Also bitter or astringent (commonly used to describe the flavor of green tea, but not coffee, which is decidedly "nigai").

"Terebi, nani mitemasuka?"
"Saikin, 'Mito Komon' hamatteru."
"Shibbeeeeeeeee! Demo, chotto dasa."
