Etymology: From Latin ludus (“play”) and the suffix of Greek eros (“desire”)

1. A person who engages in multiple casual sexual relationships openly and without shame; someone who enjoys physical or romantic connection in a free and playful way.
2. A gender-neutral term for individuals who reject the stigma surrounding non-monogamous or casual intimacy.

“He’s a total ludos—flirty, fun, and always honest.”
“Stop judging her, she’s just living that ludos lifestyle.”
“I’d rather be a proud ludos than pretend to be something I’m not.”

Usage notes:
• Ludos is intentionally non-judgmental and inclusive of all genders.
• Can be used neutrally, positively, or even playfully depending on tone.
• May be used as an identity, a description, or even an adjective (“That’s so ludos of you.”)
