Techiality

A humorous, fictional concept describing the imagined awkwardness of showing affection toward artificial intelligence—analogous to bestiality only in linguistic structure, not in biology, ethics, consent, or reality.

Used satirically to mock how people anthropomorphize technology and then jokingly question the social implications of interacting warmly with non-human software.
“I thanked my AI assistant and my friend joked that I was committing techiality.”
