Crydar
The ability to spot, or hear, a genuine cry. To differentiate between a fake cry with manipulative intent, and a real cry based on fear or pain. See: Toddler at bedtime.
Johnny's sobs didn't convince his father to buy him the toy he wanted. Daddy's Crydar was too well developed to fall for that trick.
