This is when an older person goes for a younger person with a large age gap between the two and the older one would be the one accused of playing in the sand box. Which is where younger people such as children play.

Have you seen Johns new girlfriend she looks like shes 14. There is nothing wrong with a younger one but damn hes playing in the sandbox.
