A word for those of Indian ethnic descent. It can be used in either a derogatory manner to insult or mock an individual of such backgrounds or as a friendly greeting amongst companions

Person 1: Hey look it's Rajesh!
Person 2: Oh how swell, whats is up my masaligga friend!
Rajesh: Nothing much, how bout chu?
