A revelrous, week-long celebration, usually celebrated Monday through Sunday the week of February 3rd, with that particular day generally being the height of the celebration. Celebratory activities include feasting, merry making, acting silly, taking days off from work, being lazy, and of course, the sacrificial offering of virgins.
I'm taking a couple of days off for Jaminika so I can spend all day on the couch watching reruns of Gilligan's Island.
