Aconym for Consuming Alcohol Today. A day when you're on it, regardless of the amount involved. Opposite of DOG day.

Q. Are you up for a beer?
A. My oath I am. Today is a cat day.

Dog day

Acronym for Day Off Grog. A day on which you don't consume any alcohol at all. Opposite of cat day.

I've been giving it a nudge lately. I'd better have a couple of dog days.
