Blacksmith moment

Another way to call someone “dumb” who is normally smart in one field, such as a blacksmith whose skilled with a hammer but lacks common sense

Dad: how do I start the washing machine!

You: you just fixed an engine and you can’t do that? Blacksmith moment.

When a blue collar worker is very smart with a tool but very dumb everywhere else.

“Hey blacksmith, to deliver your sword can you mark it on our map?”

“Uhhh.. how do I read a map?”

“Blacksmith moment.”
