Covidosis 

The loss, at both individual and societal level, of the ability to think rationally and calmly owing to the fear associated with a pandemic infectious disease or with the impact of measures taken in response to such a disease.

All my mates in social media have started sharing nothing but ridiculous conspiracy theories recently. I think they've all succumbed to covidosis.
