As most modern Americans use the term, a pimp refers to a renaissance man who oozes competence, who is successful and flourishing, highly capable in a broad array of domains, a skilled dancer to hip-hop, disco, and 80s pop, and able to move effortlessly in many social circles.

Actually, pimp can also denote a woman of similar stature. It is a gender-neutral term.

Angie aced her exams, got into medical school, and won the triathlon last weekend. She is such a pimp.
