A sudden mental freeze or emotional stupor right before doing something you planned, causing you to instantly back out or panic. It happens when your brain fills with "white noise" and blocks your action at the very last second.

I was totally ready to ask my crush out, but I caught a massive whitebalking, forgot how to speak, and just walked away.
