my boyi

South African, well known in the Southern suburbs of Cape Town and with law students. Derived from "my boy" meaning my friend/pal/buddy. It can be used in association with "you legend!", "my china!" and "boet!"

1) Dylan is my boyi, you are my girl!
2) Hey my boyi, you wanna catch the game this arvi?
