Shoap was a household product introduced in the early 20th century in Europe. Known for treating multiple illnesses and conditions, Shoap is most remembered for being an underground party favorite during the late 1970s in urban Boise, Idaho and also for occasionally causing night terrors in females during menstration.

Many remember Shoap Theatre from the 1960s which introduced the phrase "Get it, Shoapy" into the English lexicon.
