slab layer
A complete twat; an incredibly dense, frustrating, or painfully annoying person whose presence completely ruins the vibe. Derived from sheer exhaustion, heaviness, and general misery of handling literal concrete. Can also be used as a verb (slab-laying) to describe the act of being utterly useless or blocking social progress.
"I had to block his number, mate. He was being a proper slab layer, texting me at 3 AM about his crypto portfolio."
