Lumanitis 

The irritation one experiences when listening to the incessant clanging of the spoon in a bowl during the creation of the concoction known as Luma.

John: Doctor, my wife keeps making this terrible noise when making ice cream. It's all I hear now! It haunts my dreams!

Doctor: Hmmm.....it would appear you're suffering from an acute case of Lumanitis.

John: Dear God, is there a cure?!

Doctor: Sure, have some of this luma!

*clanging spoon*

John: NOOOO!!!

*wakes up in a cold sweat*

John: Oh, it was just a dream.

Luma

The softening of ice cream via swirling it around the bowl with a spoon until it reaches the right consistency.

Pronounced "Luh-muh"

On a hot night, it's great to have a bowl of Luma.
