A word invented by accident decades before it was needed. A little girl and her mom used to call each other by their full names said backwards whenever they were feeling silly. Her first name backwards came out "Nybor," and her last name backwards came out sounding like "Yikhnitzu." Squish it down and you get NyBitz.
Fittingly, it rhymes with kibbutz, from the Modern Hebrew root q-b-s, "to gather, to collect." A kibbutz gathers people to work the land together.
