These letters are an acronym for the phrase "Know yourself." It is a phrase used to inform someone that they are not fully at one with their self, and must embark on the journey of enlightenment to figure out who they are and become one with the universe. A completely innocent, and peaceful acronym used by those who wish not to quarrel.

"KYS, Crim~", shouted Misty, at which Crim replied with, "And to you too, my good friend." As she walked away, she could just barely hear the near-inaudible whisper of Misty's disbelieving "what the fudgeknuckles."
