Money or cash refererd to by those who gain it usally by a particular trade of hustle: gambling, drugs,robery etc.

Shorty, pronounced(short-day), got all his scatch snatched while leaving the club.

NIBs

The acronym standing for Newly Initiated Brothers. When one pledge class in a fraternity gets initiated, the NIBs are still at the bottom of the chain for the few weeks until the new pledges begin.

Sam: Why haven't any of the pledge rides answered their phones.

Bob: They're NIBs. They don't give a fuck any more.
