snurlough day

snurlough day: (n.) \ˈsnər-(ˌ)lō dā\: portmanteau word; a snow day, potentially without snow, inspired by the need of the state to give teachers a day off (furlough day) without pay.
They gave us a half day snurlough day today because of the threat of snow, not actual snow!
