Sophia Syndrome

Sophia syndrome is a developmental disease that causes those afflicted to compulsively repeat the last word of every sentence they hear. They cannot form any sentences of their own, and this becomes their only mode of communication. Despite their limited speech, the condition has no effect on their brain function. They can still form full sentences in their minds. There are two main strains of the disease that come in the form of different voices. The "Patrick" strain causes the person to speak in a deep, slow, and slightly de-compressed tone. The "Alien" strain causes the person to speak in almost the opposite way. They repeat words in a voice that is fast, high pitched, and almost robotic in tone.
