This phrase was recently popularized by middle schoolers, though not limited to only those. The phrase started when a child in the school Maplewood Middle school got a buzz cut so bad people started giving others $20 and paying for them to get a buzz cut. It got so bad that it has since spread to other schools in the district, as well as more schools in New Jersey.
“Can I please get some cash?”
“Yo, I’ll give you $20 and a buzz, alright?
