MoCo LoCo's definitions
A county in suburban Maryland located north of Washington DC. It is known for bourgeois socialists and competitive wokeness. Everyone drives a Prius and listens to NPR. They are governed by a Socialist, Marc “Marx” Elrich who makes policy based on his trips to Cuba. To become a resident here, you have to pass a Racial Equity and Social Feelings exam. At the same time, most people here are NIMBYs who don’t want to the progressive change they fight for happen in their own backyards.
Montgomery County has elected three Democratic Socialists to state and local government offices. People here are so woke.
I live in Montgomery County. I voted against school boundary changes so my kids don’t have to go to school with poor black people. But I have a Black Lives Matter sticker on my Prius, so I’m not racist.
