1. (initial capital letter) a non-conventional title of respect for someone who identifies as genderqueer or gender revolutionary, prefixed to the name and to certain official designations (usually written as the abbreviation Mx.)
2. Informal Zer (used in direct address and not followed by the name of the person addressed)
