kindra

A person with whom you share a deep alignment of interests, worldview, and passions, and with whom you intentionally collaborate and support one another, yet the connection doesn’t fit into friendship, romance, collegial relationships, or simple acquaintance. Someone who resonates with you on purpose, ideas, creativity, or mission, without the expectations or intimacy of traditional relationship categories.

Origin: Coined in 2025 in LinkedIn article “We Need a New Word for This Kind of Relationship.” The term blends “kindred” (soul-aligned, similar in nature) with a soft, open ending (“-ra”) to evoke connection without defining it too tightly.
“We don’t hang out socially, but every time we talk, ideas flow like crazy. She’s my kindra.”

transcultured

When someone’s genetic background is different from the place or culture where they were raised, so they grow up living between two (or more) cultural identities and fully embrace a minority identity within a larger society. It’s more than “bicultural”; a lived experience of cultural mixing, hybridization, and constantly navigating different traditions, languages, foods, and communal norms.

Origin: Term coined in 2005 and later published in Jewtina y Co.’s community stories.
I’m transcultured. My family was originally from Eastern Europe, but has been in Latin American for several generations. My appearance and heritage say one thing, but I identify with the culture I grew up in.

poetronica

A creative medium that blends the emotional depth and linguistic precision of poetry with the sonic architecture of electronic sound. A term to describe music where the creator used their original poetry to prompt the creation of AI-generated or AI-assisted music. Poetronica is not poetry and not music, but a distinct hybrid form with the DNA of both: language transformed into sound, feeling translated into digital texture, and artistic intent expressed through algorithmic collaboration.

Origin: Coined in 2025 in the LinkedIn article "Poetronica: A new medium between music and verse". The term combines poet- (poetry) and -ronica (from electronic/electronica) to capture a new artistic space where words evolve into immersive digital experiences.
This track started as a poem, but once AI was used to reshape it, into layered synth textures, it became poetronica.
