In central Mexico, "Mona" and "Activo" are words used to describe a drug used by the bodies of the homeless to kill the pain produced by the death of the souls that used to live in them. It consists of a rag, or any abrosbent object, the fur of a rat, for example, soaked in paint thinner, which is used to cover nose or mouth and then inhaled through.
