Chuckhold

verb/noun
(chuhk-hohld)

1. When you make a witty or clever joke, but someone else repeats it louder and they get all the laughs, leaving you in the cold with nothing but your stolen punchline and quiet resentment. A portmanteau of "cuckhold" and "chuckle", because your joke got stolen, and now you're forced to watch everyone laugh at it like it was theirs.
Alex: "Did you hear me say that line first?"
Jordan: "Yeah, but Mike said it louder."
Alex: "I’ve been chuckholded. This is emotional robbery."
