A child that is not a toddler but whines like one, isn't a teen but has an attitude like one, can still be clingy like an infant, but still isn't old enough to be a tween, .
I have two of them.

My twaddler just got an x-box for Christmas now he's clinging to my leg , whining that he's bored.
