Cadence

The rate at which a cyclist pedals, independant of the cycle's actual velocity. Measured in revolutions per minute(RPM).

Steve is a grinder- He constantly rides at a low cadence- Around 60.

Sarah is a spinner- she rides with a high cadence, of 90 or more.
