A weapon equal to 1000 tons of dynamite. 1 kiloton = 1000 tons, 10 kiloton = 10,000, and so on...

SG-1 almost dropped a 10 kiloton nuke into the base because of those damn repos.

Any weapon equal to one million tons of dynamite. 1 megaton = 1,000,000 tons, 4 megatons = 4,000,000 tons.

The 4 megaton nuke anhilated any trace of life for miles...
