A time banjo occurs when there is a break or lull in proceedings at a party and people begin to wonder whether they should be leaving.

A jelly wobbler is an annoying person who nervously shakes one or both knees under the table while casually sitting there, causing the table to shake and thus disturbing anyone else sitting there.
