An Anicel, short for AnimationCel and sometimes referred to/spelt as AnnieCel (as referencing back to the "Annie Awards" for that last one) is mostly found on YouTube (but sometimes Twitter or Tumblr and of course, Reddit) The Anicel is the type of person who is kind of (if not actually is) considered to be a PNGtuber, and there are A LOT of things that can define an anicel. The final, one TRUE mark of an Anicel, AnimationCel or AnnieCel of ANY Gender, however, is an ever so simple genre of youtube video(s0 entitled “*INSERT PROBABLE CHILDREN’S CARTOON* IS GARBAGE (AND HERE’S WHY)”.
Or, if they’re a man, their titles always tend to go more like: “THE WHO WHAT WHEN WHERE WHY AND HOW OF HOW *INSERT CARTOON WITH FEMALE CREATOR/PROTAGONIST* ‘FELL FROM GRACE/GOT RUINED!’ AS ‘EXPLAINED’ TO YOU BY ME, A MAN!”
These types of pointless, negative, hateful “videos essays” and “critique” are usually reserved for Steven Universe, Star vs. The Forces of Evil, and most recently, Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss (or any other modern cartoon that will unabashedly poke fun at adults heavily involved in fandom culture for that matter) and they help no one. (And keep in mind what all four of these examples that were just cited have in common ...)
Anicels are also typically EXTREMELY Anti Kink at Pride and Anti Kink/BDSM in general and/or have the STRONGEST AVERSION EVER TO THE WORD “MOIST” AND THEY NEED YOU TO KNOW ABOUT IT!
(It's because they hate women and LGBTQ+, even when they are one..)
