Ahou 

A Japanese word meaning 'stupid' or 'idiot', most commonly used in the Kansai area of Japan.

While 'baka' may be synonymous, 'ahou' is generally more negative; 'simpleton' instead of 'jerk'.

Can also be used as a greeting among friends.

"Ahou! Ahou!" -black birds in various anime and manga for comic effect.
