When you are on the verge of falling asleep and you remember an extremely embarrassing moment, causing a physical reaction where you flinch hard enough to "kick the sheets"

Friend: "Why are you still awake man? I thought you went to bed an hour ago."
You: "I almost did, until I kicked the sheets remembering (x).
