normally pronounced far-ting around but in this case is spoken by my indian math teach. Wasting time by any means and for a prolonged period of time.

lucy= oh my god max let's talk about about something so we dont have to do work.

max= ahhahahahahah OKAY!

indian math teacher= HEY children quit fah-ting around. dont even open your mouth. BREATHE THROUGH YOUR NOSE!
