dniun is an online term which stands for "do not interact unless necessary". it can be used by anyone to specify that they don't want to be bothered by anyone unless it's necessary, meaning they don't want to have small talk and just want to be left alone. by saying "unless necessary" the only exception for interacting with this person is if something is actually necessary and/or urgent.
