A term, usually used in the Southern US, to describe a small, possibly unexpected gift.
"During Christmas at the office, many of us participated in 'Secret Santa' in which we were secretly assigned a coworker to whom we were to give a SERCY each day during the holiday week."

"The teacher gave each of the children a SERCY at the end of the day for their hard work in school."
