BRD

Acronym for "Beyond Reasonable Doubt", This is the standard required by the prosecution in most criminal cases within an adversarial system and is the highest level of burden of persuasion - the burden of proof

Used mainly by law students in their notes and exams
In this particular case, the prosecution were finding it difficult to prove BRD the guilt of the defendant.
