digilog

is used to describe a product that is older than a new version of said product. analog is older than digital and the term is made from a combination of these words. this term is used despite the fact that a product line may be entirely digital or analog.

Melanie always considered the original iPod to be digilog compared to the newest models.

preinnovation

is when something was cool before it was considered an innovation

1. Melanie asked Tim if he remembered the preinnovation iPod. It was so digilog compared to the new versions.

2. Apple knew the iPod was going to be a preinnovation when the first model was designed before they were popular.

photo chatting

the act of chatting with someone with only photos; which are occasionally accompanied by sound. this can be done in person or through mediums such as the internet. it is usually considered to be a low upperclass technology because video chatting is ranked higher. because of this lower mentality it has a cult following which is consistent with the radio followers.
