Awshit is usually used when something really bad happens, or in a case of horrible shock.

Really Bad Event:
Awshit!! My CAR! FUCK YOU, YOU ANAL RENTENTIVE THUNDER CUNT!

Surprise:
Joe: Uhh...Jake? Behind you.
Jake: What, another puppet? *turns around*
Awshit. RUN!!!!
