One who disturbs a performer by throwing coins onto the stage. From the words shekel, Israeli monetary unit, and heckle.

The shekeler was thwarted when the stand-up nightclub covered its wooden stage with carpeting.

scrample

A scrap as a sample. A representative sample of a thing, made by removing a scrap of the original item. Used mainly in remodeling homes, boats, etc., where the original item is too large to be brought whole to a paintshop for color matching or a lumberyard for comparison to available products.

Go get a scrample of that siding so we can match the grooves at the store.
