Alternative Root

N. (Old English). A friendly member of the opposite sex, known for their promiscuity and generosity, who can be relied upon, after an unsuccessful night chasing tail, for short-term gratification.

"Mate, why are you still friends with that Hayley chick? She's so wierd."
