A ketchup boy (or girl) is someone who lacks a sophisticated and/or well rounded palate. This person prefers the most basic of condiments, ketchup, above all other condiments.
Naw, Sean won't try that new restaurant; he's such a ketchup boy there's nothing on the menu he'd try.
