green day

1.n. A terrible band that helped start the crappy pop-punk movement in the public eye, thus beginning the coup de gras to real punk as we knew it.
2.v. To kill something great.

1. "Boy, this band sucks. I mean, they're not Green Day, but they're pretty bad."
2. "The Roman Empire was, in essence, Green Day'd when Germanic tribes broke through their borders."
