A male who is both darker skinned(in a mediterranean persuasion) and sexually aggressive. Its also a derogatory description that includes both a physical description, and a perceived way of how a race acts.

That Italian guy, is quite swarthy.

A British term refering to the safety in investing by buying houses.

Although that bridge looks rickety is really as safe as houses.
