A pejorative term used by naive Gen-Z to refer to someone who is now 40 years old and is tired of taking people's crap.
Karen: "I'd like to speak to the manager. I don't like X, Y, Z."
Gen-Z: "Sure, ma'am I'll be right back with manager." (fake smile)
Gen-Z in their head: "Goddamn, this woman is such a Karen. Stop complaining."
Karen in her head: "Listen you young cunt. I've been on this Earth for far too long and paid too many tax dollars and have had too many useless, selfish, people take advantage of me to deal with your shit. I've learned that if I don't make a big stink about things then nothing gets done and I'll fight for what's mine."
