A person or a group of people who see a trend or fashion and try to become involved, only for the benifits of that particular fashion, but will move onto some thing else when the disadvantages out weigh the advantages:
wannabe : WOW, hes soo hot, im gona totaly go emo so i can pull him...
wannabe's friend: so how did it work out?
wannabe: Naw i don't like him no more, plus i didn't like the music and i got called for it, but you seen HIM, god hes soo chav, im goin chav....
