Outlook Jockey

(n.) A coworker or manager whose immediate, knee-jerk impulse upon receiving any email, question, or new piece of information is to schedule a meeting in Microsoft Outlook to discuss it, often when a simple reply or quick chat or slack would suffice.

Synonyms: Meeting Maven, Calendar Crusader, Slot-Filler.

"Don't even bother emailing Chris with a complicated question; he'll just respond by acting like an Outlook Jockey and invite the entire team to a 90-minute meeting next Tuesday."
