Verslaafd 

A dutch word for Addicted. A person who is 'Verslaafd' will often cancel all social activities. Eat less and sleep less just to do something. This could be gaming, doing drugs and drinking alcohol. This will cost him his health and his friends if he doesn't change.

Friend: Ga je nog met Marc naar de sportschool?
Me: Nee hij is te verslaafd, dat hij niet gaat.
